H.G. Hill Realty Company celebrates completion of Hill Center Brentwood’s Phase Two

Brentwood, Tenn. – Sept. 23, 2021 – H.G. Hill Company’s shareholders, team members and tenants gathered alongside elected officials at Hill Center Brentwood on the afternoon of Sept. 22 for a multifaceted celebration.

“We have a lot to celebrate as our vision of a walkable, connected mixed-use development with ample green space comes to fruition with the completion of the center’s second phase,” said Jimmy Granbery, chair and CEO, H.G. Hill Realty Company. “Improved pedestrian access and traffic flow, and connectivity to Maryland Farms Park are key components of the development.”

Along with a ribbon cutting recognizing the mixed-use development’s phase two completion that includes AC Hotel Brentwood, SVMIC and several office and retail tenants, the company also recognized the milestone with a donation to Brentwood Rotary Club Charitable Foundation for the first Brentwood Inclusive Playground. “We are pleased to support efforts to bring inclusive playgrounds to Brentwood so that children of all abilities can play and enjoy the outdoors,” said Granbery.

The addition of AC Hotel, which is a joint venture with H.G. Hill Realty Company and Huntsville, Ala.-based Doradus Partners and Yedla Management Company, adds to the center’s amenities and meets tenant needs for overnight accommodations. The 92,950 square foot, 141 room hotel celebrated its opening on Sept. 17. “Doradus Partners and our management team at Yedla Management Company are pleased to introduce the brand-new AC Hotel Brentwood to Hill Center Brentwood,” said Rich DeMarco, chief development officer at Doradus Partners. “The AC Hotel by Marriott brand and the many well-thought-out amenities that the hotel offers are an exciting complement to weave into the fabric of Hill Center Brentwood’s lineup of class A offices, high-quality dining and shopping options and offers guests a place to relax, host a business meeting, enjoy a cocktail and much more.”

In March 2020, SVMIC relocated from Maryland Farms to the center’s 81,000 square foot office building. “Hill Center Brentwood is a fantastic new home for SVMIC,” said John Mize, president and CEO, SVMIC. “Not only do our employees appreciate the new workspace and enjoy the area, but the outstanding facilities enable us to provide even better support to nearly 20,000 physicians and healthcare providers. The team at H.G. Hill Realty Company is a great partner, and we have benefited from their expertise throughout the process.” Additional office tenants in the building include Wells Fargo Advisors, Symplr, Cumberland Litigation and Grace Brothers.

Phase two also includes two retail buildings containing 9,600 and 10,000 square feet, a two-level, 315 space parking garage and a pedestrian walkway connecting the hotel and office building to Maryland Farms Park. Retails tenants include: Drybar, Spark: An Art Studio, Peace, Love & Little Donuts, Pure Sweat + Float Studio, Well Health & Chiropractic, MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, CycleBar, Scissors & Scotch, Eat the Frog Fitness, Clean Juice and coming soon is Stretch Lab.
